Organisational Development Manager (Capability or Leadership)

About the role

Join Qantas' People team as an Organisational Development Manager and help shape future‑ready leadership and capability across the Group. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term position based in Mascot, Sydney, focused on either capability development or leadership development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise‑wide solutions for capability, leadership and career pathways.
• Develop success profiles and career pathways that define performance standards across Qantas.
• Translate business priorities and future workforce needs, including AI and digital transformation, into practical, scalable development programmes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to embed capability and leadership development into everyday practice.
• Design and deliver flagship leadership and talent development programmes for people leaders, senior leaders and executives.
• Maintain internal and external partnerships, monitor emerging trends and apply best practice to organisational solutions.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in Organisational Development or related HR transformation roles.
• Proven ability to work at the intersection of strategy and execution.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders to influence capability and leadership agendas.
• Strong program management and facilitation expertise.
