About the role

Curtin University's School of Nursing is seeking a motivated Lecturer to join the Paramedicine discipline on a part‑time, permanent basis. The role involves delivering high‑quality teaching across online, blended and face‑to‑face formats, supporting first‑year student transition, and contributing to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver Paramedicine units using diverse instructional methods.
• Assess student learning needs and provide tailored academic support.
• Supervise postgraduate and honours students.
• Coordinate unit administration and contribute to curriculum planning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and scholarly teaching activities.

Required profile

• AHPRA‑registered Paramedic.
• Doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional standing.
• Demonstrated high‑level teaching expertise and reflective practice.
• Strong understanding of pedagogical theory and contemporary educational practice.
• Experience in unit coordination and ability to work collegially with cross‑cultural sensitivity.
