HR Business Partner – People Experience Lead

About the role

Open Universities Australia is seeking an HR Business Partner, internally known as a People Experience Lead, to shape the employee experience across the organisation. You will partner closely with leaders to influence people decisions, support change, and create an environment where staff can thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to align people strategies with business objectives.
• Coach and support managers on performance, engagement, development, wellbeing and change.
• Provide balanced advice on employee relations, including performance management and investigations.
• Identify people risks, capability gaps and workforce challenges and work collaboratively to address them.
• Contribute to People & Culture initiatives, programs and frameworks that enhance the employee experience.
• Support policy and process reviews and embed people initiatives across the organisation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of HR experience, including business partnering or dedicated HRBP role.
• Strong HR generalist capability across employee relations, coaching and people practices.
• Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and contemporary HR practices.
