About the role
The Grounds Supervisor will lead the day‑to‑day management of all ground‑based operations supporting Rottnest Express’s ferry and tour services. Reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Manager, you will coordinate with leadership, customer service and on‑water teams to ensure smooth logistics and store management.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee all grounds operations, including store and logistics management.
- Provide ground support to on‑water and customer service teams.
- Communicate effectively with leadership, customer service and on‑water personnel.
- Supervise and develop a diverse team of ground staff.
- Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience supervising staff in an operational environment.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Reliable, flexible and honest work approach.
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience using data‑management software.
- Knowledge of rostering systems and accounting software.
