General Manager - Product Support (Service & Parts)

About the role

The General Manager – Product Support will join the Executive team to shape business plans and lead Kubota’s Service and Parts operations across Australia and New Zealand. This senior position oversees the full product support function, ensuring high‑quality after‑sales service, warranty handling and a superior customer experience for dealers and end‑users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for the Product Support Department, including service, spare‑parts, warehousing and distribution.
• Develop and manage a large, multidisciplinary team covering technical, mechanical and logistics functions.
• Drive strategic and operational initiatives to meet financial, capital and people‑resource targets.
• Maintain strong relationships with dealers, ensuring alignment with franchise models and addressing business tensions.
• Oversee warranty processes and customer experience metrics.
• Travel interstate and overseas as required to support business objectives.

Required profile

• Mechanical or technical qualification, preferably with a tertiary degree in a relevant field.
• Extensive executive and general‑management experience in a large, complex, globally‑oriented business.
• Proven track record leading sizable technical and warehouse teams.
• Background in agricultural, construction or industrial product sectors is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage financial, capital and people resources against plans.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of franchise/dealership models.
