Electrical Engineer - Energy

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Queensland Transmission and Distribution team as an Electrical Engineer focused on energy transformation. You will work with a diverse, multidisciplinary group to develop integrated solutions that support a sustainable power future.

Key responsibilities

• Empower energy transformation by supporting clients in power generation, energy storage, and transmission & distribution design projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary experts to develop integrated solutions for system needs.
• Provide well‑informed guidance that enables inclusive decision‑making.
• Contribute to clean‑energy initiatives such as solar, wind and storage to help decarbonise communities.
• Analyse system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering degree (Electrical Engineering) with 3‑5 years of experience.
• Strong ability to develop thoughtful, effective solutions in energy or infrastructure.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills across diverse teams.
• Curiosity and willingness to challenge the status‑quo.
