Buyers Assistant – Haircare & Fragrance

About the role

The Buyers Assistant will support the growth of Sephora’s Haircare and Fragrance categories across Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with brand partners and internal teams to drive strategic, profitable expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners to achieve growth targets.
• Analyse weekly, monthly and yearly sales data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Plan, forecast, execute and review new product launches for the local market.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Ecommerce, Supply Chain, Visual Merchandising and Operations to ensure successful launches and campaigns.
• Support brand onboarding, supplier setup, compliance documentation and regulatory processes.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and category performance across Australia & New Zealand.
• Maintain product data integrity, pricing, onsite content and lifecycle across digital platforms.
• Perform general category‑management administration tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of account/brand management experience, preferably in the beauty industry.
• Strong business acumen and retail experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.

• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.).
