About the role
We are seeking a Senior Cloud & Virtual Desktop Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and support of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments. The role involves managing both Azure and AWS cloud services, ensuring secure and reliable virtual desktop experiences for the enterprise.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure and related services.
- Configure, maintain, and optimise Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.
- Provide basic support for AWS cloud services and operations.
- Monitor system performance, security, and availability, and troubleshoot issues.
- Implement cloud security and access‑control best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams on cloud deployment and migration projects.
- Prepare technical documentation and support operational activities.
Required profile
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience in cloud and virtual desktop technologies.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
