Automation Test Lead

About the role

The Quality Engineering Lead will drive the end‑to‑end quality strategy for API‑driven, micro‑services retail platforms. You will own automation implementation, provide technical leadership, and ensure reliable digital experiences for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the QE strategy for API‑first, micro‑services applications.
• Design, build and maintain API test automation frameworks with high coverage and performance.
• Implement contract testing (e.g., Pact) to guarantee consumer‑provider compatibility.
• Standardise mocking and stubbing patterns for upstream and downstream services.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product and architecture teams in Agile sprints.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in test automation and quality engineering.
• Proven technical leadership in API‑centric environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile delivery.
