About the role
The Analyst Workforce Planning role supports QantasLink’s Crew Planning team by designing efficient crew pairings and rosters. You will help the airline stay operationally effective while complying with regulatory and industrial requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and optimise crew pairings and rosters to maximise operational efficiency and cost effectiveness.
- Ensure all rosters comply with Industrial Agreements, CASA regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and align planning outcomes.
- Analyse planning scenarios, generate data‑driven insights and present recommendations to senior management.
- Continuously monitor roster performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Required profile
- Experience in workforce planning or crew rostering within a complex organisation.
- Strong analytical, strategic and problem‑solving abilities.
- Advanced numeracy and the capacity to interpret and present numerical data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Commitment to improving roster efficiency and utilisation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Planning, Finance, Logistics or Aviation (desirable).
Required skills
- Advanced user of MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Proficiency with cloud‑based collaboration tools.
