Workplace Lead

About the role

Capricorn is seeking a Workplace Lead to ensure all company facilities across Australia and New Zealand are safe, well‑maintained and operating efficiently. You will lead the Workplace team, manage budgets, and deliver high‑quality services to staff, members and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Workplace team to deliver day‑to‑day operations across all sites, including reception services and security access.
• Monitor and manage preventative and reactive maintenance programmes, ensuring facilities are clean, safe and fit for purpose.
• Oversee fleet asset maintenance, compliance and utilisation, coordinating with drivers and external providers.
• Plan, negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify, plan and execute facility‑related projects such as renovations, repairs and upgrades.

Required profile

• Broad facilities management knowledge with experience across multiple sites.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in facilities operations, vendor management and maintenance coordination.
• Proven leadership ability to develop and manage a team.
• Relevant qualification in Business, Operations, Facilities Management or equivalent.
