UniVerse/PICK Developer – Financial Services Software

About the role

Ultradata is seeking experienced UniVerse/PICK developers to join its Product Development team in Australia. You will work on core banking features such as loan and fraud management, collaborating with experts across Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, and Malaysia. The role offers the chance to deepen your UniVerse expertise while expanding into full‑stack development.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop new banking features and applications.
• Collaborate with other developers to share knowledge, solve problems, and plan projects.
• Debug, triage, and resolve issues in existing products.
• Create and run automated unit, functional, and integration tests.
• Prepare documentation and contribute to the team knowledge base.
• Showcase work to stakeholders and participate in code reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with MultiValue databases (UniVerse, UniData, D3, jBASE, etc.).
• Strong interest in delivering customer‑value‑focused solutions.
• Willingness to learn a broader set of technical skills, including full‑stack and cloud technologies.

Required skills

• UniVerse / PICK development.
• MultiValue database platforms (UniVerse, UniData, D3, jBASE, QM, mvBASE, OpenInsight, Caché, UniVision, Reality).
• Python (preferred).
• .NET stack – C#, VB, MVC, ASP.NET, WebAPI.NET Core.
• Front‑end technologies – HTML5, CSS, jQuery, AngularJS.
• .NET MAUI.
• MSSQL.
• Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure (nice to have).
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and micro‑service architectures.
