Training Specialist

About the role

The Training Specialist will join Samsung Electronics Australia’s Learning & Development team to design and deliver high‑quality product and sales training across retail stores and call‑centres. Working hands‑on, you will influence sales performance, customer experience and brand loyalty by facilitating engaging sessions and coaching frontline teams.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and deliver training programmes aligned to stakeholder briefs, including large‑group sessions (80+ participants).
• Support major events such as roadshows, product launches, VIP nights and media briefings.
• Coach retail sales teams to improve capability and sales results, providing on‑site induction and ongoing training.
• Demonstrate best‑practice customer interactions in Samsung Stores.
• Report on training activities, share insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Assist with additional L&D initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Learning & Development, training or a related field.
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills, including delivering to groups of 80+ participants.
• Proven ability to translate technical information into clear, engaging content.
• Experience in retail or sales environments, preferably with complex or technical products.
• Project management and stakeholder collaboration capabilities.
• Willingness to travel interstate and overseas approximately once a month.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (highly desirable).
