Training Delivery Lead – L&D (Network Control)

About the role

The Public Transport Authority is seeking a Training Delivery Lead to head operational training programmes within its Rail Network Control environment. You will manage a team of trainers, ensure compliance with accredited standards, and drive continuous improvement of learning solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of trainers delivering accredited and non‑accredited rail network control training.
• Oversee curriculum design, scheduling, staffing, performance monitoring and resource allocation.
• Conduct training needs analysis and develop/maintain training materials aligned with PTA standards and RTO requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, subject‑matter experts and external providers to deliver effective training solutions.
• Drive cultural change, enhance rail safety capability and foster a high‑performing, collaborative learning environment.

Required profile

• Certificate IV in Rail Network Control (TLI40921) or equivalent.
• Certificate IV in Training and Workplace Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent (allowance for achievement within an agreed timeframe).
• Proven leadership and team‑management experience, with a track record of performance‑driven culture and change initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management abilities, including prioritising diverse tasks and meeting deadlines.
