Textile Print Designer

About the role

The new Print Textile Designer will collaborate with the Buying Manager and buying teams to develop on‑trend print artwork that resonates with Sportsgirl’s customers. You will interpret colour and print trends, create original prints and patterns, and support seasonal and monthly concept presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Present and communicate print and colour trends to the Buying Manager and buying teams.
• Identify key print trends for Sportsgirl and set print direction for each season.
• Work with external artwork to create original monthly print stories.
• Research and develop ideas from directives using various resources.
• Create CADs for monthly trend collections and ensure proper execution of prints/embroideries.

Required profile

• Art & design or Textile Design qualification.
• Previous design experience in print or pattern development.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suite.
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management capability.
• Global awareness of the competitive environment.

Required skills

• Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• CAD software for pattern creation.
