Technical Operations Manager – Agricultural Machinery

About the role

In this broad leadership role you will take charge of the day‑to‑day technical side of the business, supporting workshop and field technicians, solving technical issues and ensuring projects are delivered safely. You will also spend time with customers, visiting manufacturers, importers and dealers to understand their challenges and provide technical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support workshop and field technicians and resolve technical problems.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule.
• Visit manufacturers, importers and dealers to provide technical solutions and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in the agricultural machinery industry.
• Strong technical background in agricultural machinery.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring technicians.
• Commercial awareness with interest in developing new business.
• Good organisational and computer skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Australia as required.
