Tech Analyst – Capability Delivery (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Technical Analyst – Capability Delivery will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology delivery teams within ANZ’s major regulatory program, Fortify. You will translate complex financial‑crime regulatory requirements into clear system specifications, ensuring compliant and customer‑focused outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate cross‑team discovery workshops, process walkthroughs and impact‑assessment sessions with SMEs, risk, compliance, architects and data specialists.
• Apply techniques such as stakeholder maps, RACI, SIPOC, context diagrams and decision tables to build shared understanding.
• Analyse technology impacts of proposed changes on platforms, data flows, interfaces, controls and non‑functional requirements.
• Identify dependencies, gaps and delivery risks early to inform solution design and planning.
• Develop clear functional and system requirements, maintaining traceability through design, build, testing and release.

Required profile

• Experience in business analysis or capability delivery within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of AML/CTF, fraud prevention and related regulatory frameworks.
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups and translate ambiguous business needs into concrete technical specifications.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
