Tax Manager – Corporate Advisory

About the role

As a Tax Manager you will lead client engagements, delivering commercially focused corporate tax solutions for fast‑growing private groups, mid‑market businesses and ASX‑listed companies. You will work directly with senior clients, translate complex tax matters into practical advice, and help shape the next generation of tax professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day delivery of corporate tax advisory engagements.
• Lead workstreams across a broad range of corporate tax matters.
• Prepare and review technical analysis, research and written advice.
• Work directly with clients to understand commercial objectives and provide practical tax solutions.
• Support Directors and Partners on complex advisory projects.
• Contribute to thought leadership, technical publications and client presentations.
• Develop strong client relationships and become a trusted advisor.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Stay ahead of legislative developments and emerging tax issues.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in corporate tax advisory within a professional services environment.
• Strong understanding of Australian corporate tax legislation and principles.
• Excellent analytical and technical research abilities.
• Clear, commercial communication of complex tax issues.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Collaborative leadership style with a passion for developing others.
