Tax Manager – Advisory & AI Focus (Sydney)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Tax Manager to lead technical tax and advisory work for a forward‑thinking Sydney‑based advisory firm. You will work directly with high‑profile clients on complex tax matters, shape the practice’s future direction and help embed AI‑enabled solutions into our services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑level tax and advisory expertise to clients on complex, multi‑jurisdictional issues.
• Offer technical oversight across the tax division, reviewing complex tax and compliance work.
• Mentor and develop emerging talent within the team.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of AI‑driven advisory products.
• Influence business strategy and help define the firm’s technology roadmap.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• Registered Tax Agent.
• Strong Australian tax expertise with experience reviewing complex tax and compliance work.
• Commercial mindset and passion for advisory services.
• Suitable for a Tax Manager, Senior Manager, Associate Director or Director level professional.
