Talent Acquisition Recruiter

About the role

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a customer‑focused Talent Acquisition Recruiter to lead candidate generation initiatives across a variety of technical and non‑technical roles in Australia. You will partner closely with hiring managers, develop innovative attraction strategies, and ensure a high‑quality hiring experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand role requirements and design effective recruiting strategies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates through market research, networking, referrals, career portals, job fairs and other channels.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert on the talent market, providing insights and long‑range talent landscape recommendations.
• Implement and refine recruiting processes to meet Amazon’s high standards for quality and speed.
• Drive data‑driven decision‑making, track recruitment metrics, and continuously improve operational excellence.
• Educate hiring managers and interview panels on best‑practice interviewing and assessment techniques.

Required profile

• 3+ years of technical recruiting experience in a high‑volume, high‑bar environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple searches, projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously.
• Experience creating and sustaining talent sourcing initiatives and pipelines.
• Strong negotiation skills, including complex compensation builds and offer closure.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, large‑scale corporate setting.
