System Architect – Microsoft Dynamics 365 & Power Platform

About the role

Australian Red Cross is looking for a System Architect to lead the architectural design, governance and optimisation of enterprise business systems, with a focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions. The role reports to the Head of Application Delivery & Architecture and ensures applications are secure, scalable, well integrated and aligned to organisational and architecture standards. It is a permanent, full-time position with flexible location, preferably based in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high-quality solution designs and guide delivery teams
• Work with business, data, security, infrastructure teams and external partners to deliver fit-for-purpose digital solutions
• Contribute to setting architectural standards, platform guardrails, DevOps maturity and solution lifecycle governance

Required profile

• Proven ability to explain complex technical concepts, risks and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences
• Collaborative leadership and relationship-building across business and IT teams
• Commercial awareness of cost, licensing and vendor dynamics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline; Microsoft Dynamics and Azure certifications are highly regarded

• Enterprise Azure and Dynamics 365 solutions, including Dynamics 365 and Power Platform architecture
• CRM, Finance, Supply Chain and Master Data domains
• Security, privacy and compliance, including RBAC, segregation of duties and audit controls
