Supervisor/Manager - Business Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor/Manager to join our Technology industry division, acting as a trusted adviser to innovative technology businesses. You will provide strategic advisory, virtual CFO (VCFO) services and compliance support, partnering directly with founders and leadership teams to drive commercial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and lead a portfolio of technology‑focused clients, advising on financial, operational and strategic matters.
• Provide tax strategy advice and ensure compliance with tax returns, BAS, IAS and other statutory obligations.
• Oversee preparation and review of management reports, statutory accounts and compliance documentation.
• Deliver VCFO services including budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, KPI reporting and strategic business planning.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, identifying opportunities to add value.
• Lead, coach and mentor junior team members, reviewing work and supporting professional development.
• Collaborate with advisory, tax and specialist teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Ensure all work complies with Australian accounting standards, legislative and professional requirements.

Required profile

• Prior experience in a supervisor or manager role.
• CA or CPA qualification.
• Interest in AI tools and agents and a drive to advance your career.
• Strong team collaboration and a desire to partner with clients.

Required skills

• Tax compliance (tax returns, BAS, IAS).
