Software Engineer – Next.js & React (Permanent)

About the role

We are bringing our website and digital product engineering in‑house at Eco Outdoor. As a Software Engineer you will keep our Next.js and React site on Vercel fast, reliable and easy to build, while laying the platform foundations for new digital capabilities such as online sampling.

Key responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Next.js/React/Vercel website architecture, building responsive, accessible interfaces with high design quality.
• Investigate and fix defects, manage technical risk (security, performance, dependencies) and ship high‑quality code through a robust CI/CD pipeline.
• Build and maintain integrations and APIs across systems such as NetSuite, Shopify and support the MAX AI agent platform.
• Write and maintain unit, integration and end‑to‑end tests and continuously improve code review and delivery processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT, software engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Next.js, React and Vercel, plus solid CI/CD and API integration skills.
• Proven ability to work in Agile sprint cycles and communicate technical trade‑offs to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Comfort with AI‑enabled engineering tools such as Cursor or Antigravity and a collaborative, solution‑focused mindset.
