About the role

National Skin Cancer Centres is seeking an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in skin cancer medicine to join its dedicated Skin Repair Skin Cancer Centre in Townsville. The role offers immediate access to an established patient base, modern facilities, and a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred consultations and procedures for skin cancer diagnosis and treatment.
• Utilise dedicated operating theatres and nurse‑assisted procedures, including wound management.
• Collaborate with the practice manager, administrative staff, and clinical team to maintain clinic efficiency.
• Contribute to the network’s research, education, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current AHPRA registration and FRACGP (or equivalent) qualification.
• Professional certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and Dermoscopy.
• Friendly, respectful attitude toward patients and staff.
• Commitment to clinical excellence and teamwork.
