Site Supervisor – Civil Construction

About the role

Rokon, a leading civil contractor in Victoria, is seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee residential and industrial subdivision projects across Melbourne. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will ensure safe, on‑time and high‑quality delivery of assigned sites.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and allocate plant, materials and labour to meet project timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and verify that work complies with specifications.
• Enforce Rokon’s safety policies and monitor on‑site compliance.
• Review budgets and key performance indicators monthly, escalating issues to the Area Manager and Project Engineer/Manager.
• Conduct site audits, client meetings, sign‑offs, safety inspections and maintain required documentation.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of supervisory experience in civil construction, including residential and industrial subdivisions.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal and negotiation abilities.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and a track record of meeting productivity, budget and quality targets.
• Valid OH&S Induction (White Card) and full Australian working rights.
• Willingness to complete a pre‑employment medical assessment.
