Senior Tax Accountant

About the role

Resimax Group is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join its fast‑growing property development and construction business. This in‑house role moves beyond advisory work, giving you the chance to become the trusted tax specialist for a multi‑entity group and influence commercial decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all tax matters across the group, with primary responsibility for GST and income tax compliance.
• Act as the internal point of contact for tax treatment of business transactions and provide guidance to finance and senior stakeholders.
• Identify tax risks and proactively liaise with external advisors on complex issues.
• Review and finalise year‑end tax workpapers prepared by the finance team.
• Collaborate with the Group Financial Controller on tax strategy and support process improvements.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 5+ years’ experience in tax, business services or public practice.
• Familiarity with property development tax matters, including GST treatment on property transactions and the GST margin scheme.
• Strong communication skills and confidence to engage with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
• Experience with complex group structures, intercompany transactions and tax consolidation.
