Senior System Integration Engineer - ATM

About the role

Join Saab Australia’s Civil group as a Senior System Integration Engineer for Air Traffic Management (ATM). You will act as the interface between product design, development teams and customers, delivering integration, issue remediation and product improvements across Australia’s major towers.

Key responsibilities

• Map customer requirements to system solutions using Saab’s ATM product portfolio.
• Develop requirement specifications, external interface specifications, system design documents and acceptance test documents.
• Lead integration activities, configure, integrate and test ATM system software and parameterisation both in factory and on‑site.
• Coordinate with software development teams to design and verify customer‑specific solutions.
• Manage defect prioritisation and support customer validation activities.

Required profile

• Degree in software engineering or computer science with recent software experience.
• Eligible for chartered engineering status and state registration (Queensland/Victoria).
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in the ATM domain, including system integration.
• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain Defence Security Clearance.
