Senior Site Supervisor – Large Hospital Project

About the role

Multiplex is seeking a Senior Site Supervisor to lead operations on a large hospital construction project. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will coordinate subcontractors, manage site teams and ensure safe, efficient delivery of works to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage day‑to‑day site operations, supervising subcontractors and site teams.
• Drive programme delivery through short‑term planning and monitoring progress against key milestones.
• Ensure strict compliance with occupational health & safety, quality assurance and industrial relations requirements.
• Coordinate construction activities to achieve quality, time and cost targets.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure works meet specifications and schedule.
• Maintain site documentation, including safety records, diaries and reporting.
• Identify and resolve construction, design and coordination issues on site.
• Mentor and develop site staff, fostering a high‑performance project team.
• Collaborate with internal teams, consultants and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Supervisor on major construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of building trades and construction methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Sound understanding of Australian building codes and OH&S legislation.
• Trade qualification or equivalent industry experience.
