Senior Quality Engineer – Utilities Project

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a utilities project in Neerabup, WA. The role will establish, manage and maintain the project’s quality systems, ensuring compliance across construction, subcontractor and procurement activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) – reporting, investigation and close‑out.
• Conduct training and inductions on quality systems for project teams.
• Lead internal audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Review subcontractor documentation for quality compliance.
• Participate in site inspections and testing in line with Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Contribute to monthly quality reporting and management reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• At least 5 years’ experience on multi‑disciplinary projects.
• Minimum 2 years’ site‑based quality experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering systems.
• Excellent organisational, problem‑solving and communication skills.
