Senior Quality Engineer

About the role

Join Qantas' new Product Innovation Centre in Adelaide as a Senior Quality Engineer, responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance and security of a cabin‑crew facing mobile application used during flights.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve test strategies for mobile and API components, including offline‑first and low‑connectivity scenarios.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle and contribute to test automation.

Required profile

• 6+ years of enterprise QA experience with strong hands‑on mobile application and API testing.
• Proven ability to work closely with engineers, product managers and designers in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• iOS Mobile Device Management (MDM) testing.
• API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, Charles or Proxyman.
• Debugging and log analysis with Xcode.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful services, functional, regression and exploratory testing.
