Senior Project Manager – eCommerce, Payments & Integration (6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of an MVP eCommerce and payments capability within a patient‑engagement mobile app for a global medical‑technology client. The role is based in Sydney and will run for six months, working across teams in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and San Diego.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery of the AirStore MVP across multiple workstreams, internal teams and external partners.
• Build the integrated project plan from scratch, defining milestones, work breakdown, dependencies, risks and governance.
• Coordinate geographically distributed teams in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur and San Diego.
• Act as the primary interface between Global Technology Solutions, the product team and the mobile‑app team.
• Manage the external vendor relationship and integration between the patient‑engagement app and a Shopify‑based platform.
• Synchronise integration efforts across eCommerce, payment, order‑management, identity, fulfillment and customer‑experience systems.
• Drive execution using agile, hybrid and vendor‑led delivery models within a regulated medical‑device release cadence.
• Handle escalation paths, decision‑making forums and executive‑level status reporting.
• Lead operational readiness and deployment coordination for customer‑impacting releases.
• Define and maintain project governance and reporting structures, providing data‑driven updates to senior leadership.
• Identify process gaps and champion best‑practice templates to improve delivery predictability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of project‑management experience delivering complex, cross‑functional programmes.
• Proven experience in eCommerce, payment systems and multi‑system integrations.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Experience coordinating globally distributed teams and managing external vendor relationships.
• Familiarity with regulated, medical‑device release cycles is advantageous.
