Senior Process Engineer, 12-Month FTC

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering one of ANZ’s most significant regulatory and customer outcome initiatives. Working within the Complaints Uplift Program, you’ll lead the delivery of strategic projects designed to strengthen ANZ’s complaints management capability, support compliance with ASIC Regulatory Guide 271, and improve outcomes for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of projects within the Complaints Uplift Program, ensuring objectives, timelines and outcomes are achieved.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes.
• Drive initiatives that strengthen complaints handling capabilities and support non‑financial risk uplift across the organisation.
• Ensure projects align with ANZ’s delivery frameworks, risk management standards and regulatory obligations.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Retail, Commercial and Private Banking, as well as technology and risk teams.
• Manage project governance, risks, dependencies and reporting to maintain delivery momentum.
• Prepare high‑quality updates and presentations for executives, governance forums and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale projects or transformation initiatives within financial services.
• Strong understanding of non‑financial risk, risk management frameworks and regulatory change environments.
• Excellent project delivery capabilities, including planning, governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
• Experience working with senior executives and influencing across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to produce executive‑level papers and reporting.
• A collaborative approach and passion for driving meaningful organisational change.
