Senior Interface Engineer – Transgrid and Mines

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Interface Engineer to lead third‑party interface activities for the Central‑West Orana Renewable Energy Zone transmission project. The role will focus on managing relationships with TransGrid, mines and power generators to ensure seamless project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead third‑party interfaces with TransGrid, mines and power generators throughout project delivery.
• Manage requirements of third‑party agreements and reporting tools to demonstrate compliance.
• Track compliance with these requirements across project delivery gates from design to commissioning.
• Assist in developing an overall Interface Management Plan, including sub‑plans for each key stakeholder.
• Contribute to project progress monitoring and reporting.
• Provide input and develop solutions that minimise impact to third parties while maintaining commercially effective delivery.
• Maintain effective relationships with third parties to avoid disputes and commercial compensation claims.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in interface engineering on large infrastructure projects.
• Proven ability to manage third‑party agreements and compliance reporting.
• Experience developing interface management plans and monitoring project progress.
