About the role
The Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Web) will design and build modern, responsive web front‑ends and the APIs that power them for the Melbourne Design Centre. You will work on new applications as well as maintain and support existing solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using React, TypeScript.NET and Azure Cloud.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerisation, and automated testing.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on documentation, deployment, support and troubleshooting.
Required profile
- 5+ years of continuous commercial experience in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, Agile methodologies and RESTful API design.
- Can‑do attitude, excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Required skills
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, Node.js.
- React (or Next.js/Vue), Redux/MobX, WebSocket, WebRTC.
- Package managers (Yarn, NPM), Vite, ESLint, Prettier.
- Testing frameworks: Jest, React Testing Library.
- C#, SQL Server, Azure Cloud services.
- Docker containerisation.
- IDE: VS Code, Rider, WebStorm.
- Version control and CI/CD pipelines.
