Senior Engineer – Drainage

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer – Drainage to join our Melbourne team and support the delivery of major transport and infrastructure projects across Victoria and nationally. This permanent position offers the chance to work on complex drainage designs and occasional flood‑related analysis within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver detailed drainage design solutions for large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Produce technical outputs, calculations and design documentation that meet client and industry standards.
• Provide limited flood‑analysis support when required.
• Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering knowledge sharing within the team.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists to ensure integrated project delivery.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in engineering consultancy or a similar environment.
• Proven experience on transport or infrastructure projects.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to contribute confidently across multiple project stages.
