Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

epxEpx is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and evolve its multi‑cloud platform across Azure and AWS. You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, security, and performance while driving cost‑efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own and optimise Azure and AWS environments (compute, networking, IAM, storage).
• Build and scale infrastructure‑as‑code using Terraform, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Create monitoring, alerting and observability solutions (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana).
• Embed security‑first practices, including IAM, secrets management, encryption and compliance.
• Lead incident response, reliability engineering and disaster‑recovery planning.
• Drive FinOps initiatives to optimise cloud spend.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to raise DevOps maturity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on experience with both Azure and AWS in production.
• Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Expertise in containerisation and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
• Security‑focused mindset with familiarity of ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into business impact.
