About the role
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is seeking an experienced Senior Developer to join its Australia team. You will work on large‑scale, mission‑critical enterprise applications supporting power system operations and digital transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate complex software solutions using modern frameworks and cloud platforms.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of automated build, test and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional Agile, Waterfall or hybrid teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and regulatory requirements, including the WA Government Energy Transformation Strategy.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of end‑to‑end software development experience.
- Proven track record delivering large, complex projects in high‑performing teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in power system or market operations is preferred.
Required skills
- C#.NET Core, Java, Spring Boot
- ORMs: Entity Framework, Dapper, Hibernate
- Databases: SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Databricks
- Web technologies: SPA, MVC, PWA, Microservices, REST, GraphQL, WebSockets
- JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks: Vue, Angular, React, Blazor
- UI libraries: Vuetify, Bootstrap, Element UI
- ESB integration platforms: webMethods, Boomi, MuleSoft
- Messaging: RabbitMQ, UM, JMS
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps pipelines (or Bamboo, Jenkins)
- Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes
- Scripting: PowerShell, Python
- Domain knowledge: SCADA, PI, real‑time systems (a plus)
