Senior Consultant - Finance Advisory

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our CFO Advisory team within Financial Risk Advisory. In this role you will work with leading Australian clients, delivering compliant and commercial finance solutions while developing practical advice on complex accounting, financial and regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery of complex projects, including end‑to‑end project management, client deliverables, reports and presentations.
• Assist with implementation of new financial or regulatory reporting systems, policies and governance frameworks.
• Analyse risks, design controls and recommend process improvements across business transformations.
• Provide high‑quality technical accounting advice across multiple sectors.
• Work on pre‑ and post‑deal finance function set‑up engagements to realise value from M&A activities.
• Perform data analysis to support robust decision‑making and promote effective use of financial tools.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, developing innovative solutions and bringing them to market.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification such as CA (completed or currently undertaking) or equivalent.
• Experience in audit, advisory or assurance within professional services or industry.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with strong written and verbal communication.
• Proven project management and team‑leadership experience.
• Willingness to tackle new challenges and solve problems.
• Ability to travel as required and authorised to work in Australia without sponsorship.
