Senior Consultant, Asset Management and Performance

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join Aurecon’s Asset Management Advisory team in Melbourne. You will apply structured problem‑solving and technical analysis to help asset‑intensive organisations make better decisions across the full asset lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to multi‑disciplinary projects, coordinating inputs from engineering and technical specialists.
• Apply analytical approaches to support investment prioritisation, performance improvement, risk and reliability decisions.
• Translate technical data and insights into clear, evidence‑based recommendations for public and private sector clients.
• Develop asset management strategies, system designs and condition assessments.
• Build and maintain client relationships while delivering project workstreams from analysis to recommendation.

Required profile

• Degree in Engineering, Science, Technology or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in consulting, engineering, operations or technical advisory roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel occasionally for project work.
