Senior Commercial Lawyer – Remote

About the role

LegalVision is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to join its Commercial practice on a fully remote basis within Australia. You will work with a diverse portfolio of innovative clients ranging from early‑stage startups to established tech and healthcare companies.

Key responsibilities

• Build and own client relationships, acting as the primary trusted business adviser.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial and IT contracts, and advise on IP, licensing, partnership, privacy, consumer and regulatory matters.
• Mentor and train junior lawyers and graduates, developing their technical and commercial judgment.
• Contribute to firm growth through client articles, webinars and internal training.

Required profile

• At least 4 years post‑qualification experience in private practice or in‑house, with a strong focus on commercial contracts.
• Demonstrated ability to provide practical, business‑focused advice across tech, healthcare, fintech, healthtech, NDIS or similar emerging sectors.
• Commercial acumen and a proactive approach to identifying value‑adding opportunities for clients.
