Senior Auditor

About the role

PKF Brisbane, a fast‑growing member of PKF International, is seeking two Senior Auditors to join its audit team. The role involves delivering audit and compliance services to a diverse client base, including publicly listed companies, while ensuring high‑quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with partners and management to deliver audit engagements to a high standard.
• Plan, execute and complete audit fieldwork, preparing financial statements.
• Communicate directly with clients throughout the audit process.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff on larger engagements.
• Travel to client sites across Australia as required.
• Participate in internal and external training sessions.

Required profile

• Completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus).
• Minimum three years of audit experience.
• CA qualified or well‑advanced in the CA program.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and Auditing Standards (AUASB).
