Senior Auditor

About the role

As a Senior Auditor in BDO Australia's Audit practice you will partner with a diverse range of public and private sector clients across multiple industries. You will build strong relationships while delivering high‑quality audit services and benefiting from extensive training, mentorship and a supportive work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, partners and audit team members.
• Provide guidance to audit staff and ensure audit procedures follow BDO’s methodology.
• Collaborate with the team to plan audit objectives and devise strategies that identify and address audit risks.
• Oversee the execution of audit engagements, ensuring compliance with Australian reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present consolidated financial reports for clients.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification and membership with CA ANZ or CPA, or studying towards admission.
• 2‑4 years of external audit experience in a professional services firm.
• Strong knowledge of Australian reporting requirements, AIFRS accounting, tax legislation, the Corporations Act, ASIC and ASX regulations.
• Proven ability to build excellent client relationships and deliver high‑quality outcomes.
