Senior Advisor, Governance and Reporting

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Senior Advisor to join its Technology Non‑Financial Risk division. You will support the Group Technology Risk Governance and Reporting squad, ensuring that operational risks are properly managed, governed and reported to protect shareholders, customers and bankers.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality risk reports for Board Risk and Audit Committees, DBTC, OREC, TRMC and other risk forums, ensuring compliance with internal reporting standards.
• Gather, interpret and analyse risk data, controls, assessment results and metrics to develop data‑driven insights and support decision‑making across Group Technology.
• Provide advice on risk, compliance, governance and controls, and deliver secretariat support to executive management and relevant risk committees.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, coordinate inputs and actions, and contribute to continuous improvement of risk culture.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of non‑financial risk management frameworks, risk assessment, control environments and assurance concepts.
• Ability to synthesize complex risk and control information into clear, structured insights.
• Proven capability to coordinate cross‑functional inputs and activities.
• Senior‑level experience in risk governance or technology risk management.
