Senior Accountant

About the role

We are a fast‑growing biotech group seeking a Senior Accountant to support our expanding operations. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in day‑to‑day financial management and strategic reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month‑end close, financial reporting, stock management, tax and audit matters.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions.
• Prepare management information, data analysis and reports for strategic planning.
• Lead group accounting, business consolidation and provide input on finance policies.
• Develop budgets, forecasts and assist with capital market activities.
• Handle ad‑hoc financial requests as required.

Required profile

• University degree in Commerce, Finance or Accounting.
• CPA or CA qualification preferred, or currently completing.
• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience in a corporate or firm setting.
• Experience in management accounting, preferably within manufacturing, agriculture or FMCG.
• Strong problem‑solving, autonomous work style and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Outlook.
• Knowledge of MYOB, Xero or similar accounting software.
