Senior Accountant

About the role

Join a leading business advisory firm in Perth as a Senior Accountant within the Business Services Division. You will work alongside experienced professionals, delivering tax, accounting and advisory services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT and payroll tax returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and trusts.
• Utilise accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and APS to deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Provide tax planning and business advisory services, analysing financial and non‑financial data to help clients monitor performance.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, identifying additional service opportunities.
• Participate in team training, mentoring and knowledge‑sharing initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Business Services with strong technical accounting skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; working towards or completed CA/CPA qualification.
• Solid understanding of Australian accounting standards and reporting requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Legal work rights in Australia (citizenship or permanent residency).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and APS accounting platforms.
