Sales Development Representative

About the role

Energin is an Australian energy management consultancy that helps businesses reduce costs, manage risk and take control of their energy use. It is now investing in its technology, marketing and sales capability to grow further. This is a high-activity, outbound sales role focused on generating and qualifying new business opportunities for the firm's energy consultants. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, identify decision-makers, spark interest and book qualified meetings; there is no tendering, account management or long sales cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect target markets through outbound calls, emails and door knocking
• Identify and engage key decision-makers in commercial and industrial businesses
• Qualify opportunities based on energy spend, contract timing and appetite for review
• Book qualified meetings for the Energy Management Consultants
• Maintain accurate activity and pipeline records in the CRM
• Hit weekly and monthly activity and qualified-meeting targets

Required profile

• Confident, resilient and energised by outbound prospecting and cold outreach
• Comfortable with high call volumes and rejection
• Results driven, strong communicator who can build rapport quickly
• Coachable, competitive and motivated by a clear path into a bigger sales career
• Prior experience in a B2B BDR, SDR or outbound sales role is a plus

What we offer

• $65,000 base plus superannuation and uncapped commission, with an OTE of $140,000+ for high performers
