ROV Sub Engineer (Expression of Interest)

About the role

DOF Australia is seeking experienced ROV Sub Engineers to join its offshore team on vessels operating in the APAC region. You will work within the ROV team handling operation, maintenance and administration of ROV systems, tooling, sensors and spars under the guidance of the ROV Supervisor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and administer ROV systems and associated equipment on offshore vessels.
• Support the ROV Supervisor in ensuring safe and efficient ROV operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years offshore experience as an ROV Pilot Tech (Sub Engineer).
• Relevant qualifications or recognised Australian technical trade certification, and a current MSIC.
• Documented IMCA base competency logbook (beneficial) and IMCA‑based certification.
• OGUK Medical, BOSIET and CAEBS certifications.
• Strong communication, teamwork and solution‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Experience with ROV Work Class systems, particularly XLX or equivalent.
• IMCA competency and certification.
• OGUK Medical, BOSIET and CAEBS certifications.
