Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant is a key member of the Housekeeping team at Mantra 2 Bond Street, ensuring each guest room is immaculate and welcoming. You will work closely with colleagues to maintain high standards of cleanliness and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including changing linens, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping surfaces.
• Follow established cleaning guidelines to meet the hotel’s quality standards.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping trolleys, keeping supplies organized.
• Use cleaning materials safely and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Respect guest privacy and security at all times.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a cleaner or room attendant is a plus.
• Warm, welcoming communication style that makes guests and teammates feel at home.
• Strong eye for detail, efficient time management, and pride in work.
• Physical stamina to navigate stairs and walk between rooms.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Familiarity with housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals.
