Revenue Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑driven, commercially aware Revenue Accountant to join our Finance team. The role ensures accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of revenue, supporting billing accuracy, debtor management and month‑end close across our national operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post revenue journals and manage month‑end and year‑end close.
• Reconcile revenue across operational systems, billing platforms and the general ledger.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies, variances and billing issues.
• Manage direct debits and debtor processes, including failed or rejected transactions.
• Prepare monthly revenue reports, dashboards and variance commentary for management.
• Support improvements to billing workflows, finance controls and system integrations.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• CPA or CA qualified, or working towards completion.
• Experience in revenue accounting, accounts receivable or financial reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and comfortable working across large datasets.
• High attention to detail with strong communication skills.
• Experience with Xero, NetSuite, MYOB or similar platforms (desirable).
