Remote Site Supervisor – Travel Required

About the role

Our client, a leading engineering rehabilitation business, is seeking a Remote Site Supervisor to start immediately in Noosa, Queensland. The role involves travelling across Queensland to oversee remediation projects ranging from $50k to $15m, ensuring safety, quality, and financial performance on site.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a ‘no harm’ safety culture; conduct risk assessments and enforce OH&S controls.
• Ensure workmanship meets industry best practice and project specifications; maintain accurate quality records.
• Manage project budgets, control site expenditure, and support contractual claims.
• Lead and motivate on‑site personnel, fostering high productivity and morale.
• Oversee subcontractors and suppliers, verifying quality and safety compliance.
• Plan and schedule activities, monitor program performance, and identify potential slippage early.
• Control plant, equipment, and material inventories to support project delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction or remediation sites, preferably with exposure to ageing infrastructure assets.
• Comfortable working hands‑on when required and capable of managing subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel intra‑state to project locations outside metropolitan areas.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards.
